Ali Saleh Kiba is healthier proverbial by his anonym, Ali Kiba (some of his fans call him King Kiba) is a Tanzanian recording creative person. The multi-talented Ali Kiba was born on the twenty-ninth of November 1986 and raised in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. The singer, song author, actor, producer, director, and jock is married to Amina Khalef from Mombasa Kenya and along they are blessed with one kid. He additionally has three children, each with a different woman. His younger brother Abdu Kiba is also one among the famous musicians in Tanzania.
Music Career
He released his debut album and hit single “Cinderella” in 2008. This became a major stepping stone in Kiba’s career since it became the largest selling record in the East African geographical region countries including Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. He shortly released his second album, Ali K 4 Real in 2009 that had hits like “Nakshi Mrembo” and “Usiniseme”. He worked under kings Music label. In 2016, he signed a deal with Sony Music entertainment and later became the director of the Rockstar4000 in 2017 (Ditiwala,2016).
Ali Kiba has worked with varied artists across Africa not limited to Sauti Sol, Yvonne Chakachaka, Brown Mauzo, M.I, Ommy Dimpoz, Mr. Blue, Abby Skillz, and Navy Kenzo, Abdu Kiba, Professor Jay, Bob Junior, Mwana FA, and Lady JayDee. Most of an enormous variety of Ali Kiba’s songs are mega-hits in the East African geographical region. They include “Mapenzi Yana Run Dunia”, “Single Boy”, “Mwana, Aje” , “Chekecha Cheketua”, “Kadogo”, “Seduce me”, “Lupela”, “Dushelele”, ‘Kidela”, “Kiboko Yangu”, “Macmuga” and “Unconditionally Bae” (TINA Magazine,2018).
Chekecha Cheketua and Mwana were released in 2015 to break his long musical silence that lasted three years. The two hits elevated him to the next level and earned him six awards at the 2015 Tanzania Music Awards. In addition, he broke the record on Mkito.com for the most downloaded song of 2015. His song “Aje” became a multiple-award winning hit song. Most East Africans tend to match Ali Kiba with fellow Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz and that they each appear to possess a big variety of rock-ribbed fans.

Ali Kiba has received various awards like Tanzania Music Awards, WatsUp Music Awards, BEFFTA Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Nafca, East Africa TV Awards, ASFA Awards (Uganda), Soundcity Awards, TZ INSTA Awards, Kili Music Awards, Best Celebrity Player Awards (Uganda) and WANNAMusic Awards, France (David,2016). In addition, he has been appointed for African Music Awards.
Endorsements
Kiba signed an endorsement deal with the mobile telephone brand Airtel Africa alongside the Billboard most influential global R&B artist for over two decades, R Kelly and other African megastar artists; Fally Ipupa from the Democratic Republic of Congo/France, 2Face Idibia from Nigeria, Amani from Kenya, Movaizhaleine from Gabon, 4X4 FROM Ghana, Navio from Uganda and JK from Zambia. Ali Kiba signed a one-year contract deal to play for the Coastal Union Football Club. Due to his football talent, he went far and beyond his journey to success in the artistic world. He received an offer to be one of the Tanzania National Soccer Team players. Besides, he met Jakaya Kikwete, the then Tanzania’s President, who showed gratitude to him for his talent which is a major contribution to the nation’s arts sector.
